Direction: Read the following information carefully to give the answer of the questions given below.

Five boxes P, Q, R, S and T can contain 80 items each. In a week, five different items- Shirts, Jeans, Scarfs, Tops and Pants are placed in five different days – Monday to Friday. Each item is placed in each day exactly once. Boxes that appear consecutive in alphabetical order are called consecutive boxes. All the given information is not necessarily in the same order.

Except for Thursday, in other days, Scarfs and Pants are placed in consecutive boxes. Except for Wednesday and Thursday, in other days, Shirts and Tops are placed in consecutive boxes. Except for Wednesday and Friday, in other days, Jeans and Scarfs are placed in consecutive boxes. Except for box P, in other boxes, Tops and Scarfs are placed in consecutive days. Shirts are not the first or the last item to be placed in box T. Except for box R and T, in other boxes, Shirts and Jeans are placed in consecutive days. Shirts are placed in the three boxes in the following order- box R, box Q and box S in consecutive days without any gap.

PUZZLE 2

Study the following information carefully to answer the given questions.

Eight persons i.e. A, B, C, P, Q, R, S and T are sitting in two parallel rows such that A, P, R and T are sitting in row 1 and all are facing in south direction and B, C, Q and S are sitting in the row 2 and they are faces in north direction. Person sitting in the row 1 faces the person sitting in row 2. They all are born in different years i.e. 1982, 1985, 1987, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1995 and 1999 in same date and same month (the base year is taken as 2019). All the information is not necessarily in the same order.

S sits second to the right of the one who is two years older than T. T was born after 1993. Q faces the one who sits second to the left of the one who is second oldest. The difference between the ages of Q and R is an odd number but less than 5. No one sits between R and P. P doesn’t sits at the extreme end. The age of Q is a prime number. The one who is youngest faces the one who sits at the immediate right of the person whose age is multiple of 5. B is the only neighbour of C. T doesn’t face Q and S. Sum of the digits of the A’s age is 5. The one who is 20 years old faces south.

Direction: Read the given information and answer the following questions. 

There are 8 family members with 4 couples namely- A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a circular table, two of them are facing away from the center. Only two people sit between B and E. B faces the centre. F sits second to the right of B. E is the wife of A. No female is an immediate neighbor of E. C is not an immediate neighbor of B. C is the daughter of E. Both the immediate neighbors of C face the centre. Only three people sit between A and C’s brother. F is not the brother or husband of C. A, C and C’s brother, none of them is an immediate neighbor of F. D sits three places away from G’s husband. H, the wife of B, sits to the immediate left of D. Both G and A face a direction opposite to that of C. C’s husband sits second to the left of G. B’s father sits to the immediate right of E. B sits second to the right of A’s father. Both the immediate neighbors of F are females. G is the grandmother of B.

PUZZLE 4

Direction: Answer the questions based on the information given below.

7 friends P, Q, R, S, T, U and V work in different companies among TCS, Infosys, IBM, Wipro, Accenture and IGate but not necessarily in the same order. Each of these persons has different ages among 28, 33, 34, 36, 39 and 40 years (as per year 2018). Not more than 2 persons work in the same company or have same age.

S is 1 year older than the one, who works in Wipro.

Difference between the ages of the person who works in Wipro and Q is 6 years.

R and the person, who works in IBM, are of same age.

Neither S nor Q works in IBM. T works neither in Wipro nor in IBM.

Difference between the ages of T and the only person, who works in TCS, is 6 years.

The person, who works in TCS, is neither 28 nor 34 years old.

R is not younger than T. The age of the person working in neither IGate nor Accenture, is 36 years.

R and Q work in the same company. The age of V is neither 36 nor 39.

P is older than U. V doesn’t work in IGate.

PUZZLE 5

Eight persons, P through W are sitting at corners and in the middle of the sides of a square table. Number of persons facing towards centre is less than those who are facing away from the centre. Each of them likes different sports among, Bowling, Football, Basketball, Hockey, Cricket, Tennis, Golf and Baseball. Two persons are sitting between the person, who likes Bowling and Q, who is not sitting at any corner. S is sitting 2nd to the left of the person, who likes Bowling. Person, who likes Hockey, is sitting 2nd to the right of S. One person is sitting between the persons, who like Tennis and Baseball. The person who likes Hockey is not sitting adjacent to the persons, who like Baseball and Tennis. V is sitting 3rd to the right of T, who likes Golf. Both T and S are facing in the same direction. V doesn’t like Bowling and is not the immediate neighbour of Q. One person is sitting between V and U, who likes Cricket. P neither likes Baseball nor Hockey. W is sitting 3rd to the left of P. P and Q are facing in the opposite direction. W and the person, who likes Tennis, are facing in the same direction. Q doesn’t like football.
