PUZZLE 1:

Seven persons i.e. A, B, C, D, X, Y and Z are living in a seven-floor building with ground floor is numbered as 1, the floor above it is numbered as 2 and so on till the topmost floor is numbered as 7. They all like different colours i.e. Blue, Pink, Red, Yellow, Grey, Orange, and Black. Four of them belong to Jaipur and the rest belong to Punjab. All information is not necessarily in the same order.

The one who likes Pink colour lives on an even-numbered floor. The one who belongs to Punjab lives just below the one who likes Pink color. C lives on the sixth floor. The one who lives on the second floor belongs to Jaipur. Y lives on the fourth floor. Two persons live between C and the one who likes Grey colour. As many persons live below the one who likes grey colour as above the one who belongs to Punjab. Z lives immediately below D and likes Black colour and lives on an odd-numbered floor. The one who belongs to Jaipur lives just below the one who likes Blue colour and just above the one who likes Red Colour. The one who belongs to Jaipur does not like Grey colour. A lives on the topmost floor. The one who likes Yellow colour does not belong to Jaipur. C does not like Orange color. B lives above X.


PUZZLE 2 :

Eight persons A, B, C, D, W, X, Y and Z are sitting around a hollow circular table such that four of them sit on the inner side of the table and face away from the center and the rest are sitting on the outer side circle and face towards the center. The persons sitting on the outer circle are facing the persons sitting on the inner side of the table. They have different ages i.e. 64, 41, 39, 28, 25, 22, 20 and 19 but not necessarily in the same order.

Z is older than X. The age of D is divisible by 5. B faces W. Y is an immediate neighbour of W who is the youngest person. The sum of the ages of A and D is a perfect square. D sits third to the right of B. The difference between the ages of W and B is 3. Z faces C. X sits second to the left of W. Z sits at the immediate left of W. The age of Y is equal to the sum of ages of B and W. The age of C is a perfect cube. Z is sitting on the inner side of the table.


PUZZLE 3:

Six persons L, M, N, X, Y and Z are sitting around a triangular table such that three of them sit at each corner and the remaining are sitting in the middle of each side. Some of them face towards the center and some face opposite to the center. Each of them like different brand viz. One plus, Apple, Oppo, Vivo, Samsung, and Moto but not necessarily in the same order.

Y doesn’t like the Apple brand. The one who likes the Moto brand sits third to the right of the one who likes the Oppo brand and both are facing in the same direction. N sits at the immediate left of L. X likes the Vivo brand. N likes the Moto brand. L sits second to the right of the one who likes the Oppo brand. X faces the same direction as M who likes the Oppo brand. The immediate neighbors of Oppo faces the same direction. X sits at the immediate right of Z and faces towards the center. Z doesn’t like the Apple brand and the Samsung brand. The one who likes the Samsung brand sits at the corner. Y sits third to the right of X. X is not an immediate neighbor of M.


PUZZLE 4:

Seven floors of a building were bought by seven different people, A, B, C, D, E, F, and G but not necessarily in the same order. After buying their flats, they spent some amount on the renovation of the flats. The amount spent by each person is different. The ground floor is numbered as the 1st floor, the floor above that is numbered 2nd floor and so on till the 7th floor.

B spent Rs. 10000 less than the person who lives on the 2nd floor but 6000 more than A. E lives just a floor above C, who spent 33.33% more than the person who is on the top floor. The amount spent by the person on the 6th floor is 60% of the amount spent by D, also the difference between their expenses is Rs. 26000. A lives four floors above D on an odd numbered floor. B lives three floors above G, who lives on a floor next to E’s floor. The person living on the 4th floor spent 12.5% less than the person living on a floor just above him but Rs. 31000 less than the person who lives just a floor below him.


BLOOD RELATION:

There are nine family members in a family of three generations in which three are married couples. U is grandfather of S. T is niece of R. S is only son of Q. R is sister-in-law of Q. P is daughter of U.V is sister of U. R is unmarried member of the family. Q has no siblings. W is grandmother of S. X is son- in-law of Q. W has only two children.
