Directions (1-5): In the given questions, two quantities are given, one as Quantity I and another as Quantity II. You have to determine relationship between two quantities and choose the appropriate option.

1.Quantity I – when length and breadth of a rectangle increase by 2 cm. Area of rectangle increase by 84 cm². If breath decrease by 3 cm area decrease by 72 cm². Find perimeter of rectangle?

Quantity II – Radius of a cylinder is 14 cm² and height is 56 cm. Find how many Sphere can beformed from cylinder, if radius of sphere is half of the radius of cylinder.

2.There are five munch, four 5- stars and three KitKat chocolate in a bag A boy take out four chocolates randomly from the bag. 

Quantity I – Probability of selecting two munch and two five stars 

Quantity II – Probability of two munch one five store and one KitKat

3.Quantity I: ‘x’ :A dishonest shopkeeper sales his good by weighting 15% less and cheat his wholeseller by giving 15% less amount. ‘x’ is his approximate total profit % if he sells it at cost price. 

Quantity II: ‘y’ : A dishonest milkman, add 20 litre water in pure milk, after selling half of mixture. He again added 20 liter of water in remaining mixture now milk and water ratio in mixture becomes 4 : 3. ‘y’ is his overall profit % on selling total mixture

4.Quantity I: ‘x’ : A and B can do a work in 24 days together, in which 40% of work is done by B. C who is 25% more efficient than A, do the same work alone in ‘x’ days. 

Quantity II: ‘y’ : P, Q and S work for x, x+1 and x+2 days and their efficiency are in the ratio of x : x+1 : x+2 respectively. If P got 16 Rs for his work, then ‘y’ is the total money earned by all three in Rs.. (Compare Magnitude of x and y)

5.In a two digit number, digit at unit place exceeds, the digit in its tens place by 2 and the product of the required number with the sum of its digit is equal to 144.

6.A sum of Rs. 18750 is left by will by a father to be divided between two sons of 12 and 14 years of age, so that when they attain maturity at 18, the amount (principal + interest) received by each at 5 per cent simple interest will be the same. Find the sum allotted at present to each son.

7.A motorboat went downstream for 28 km and immediately returned. It took the boat twice as long to make the return trip. 8.Directions (3-4): Ramesh and Suresh decided to meet at a common point at the same time in the river. Ramesh had to travel 42 km upstream in the river and Suresh had to travel  35 5/7 % less distance downstream than that of Ramesh to meet at a common point. They both sets off in their respective boats at the same time and speed of Ramesh’s boat is 20 km/hr more than the speed of Suresh boat. It is given that Suresh covers 280 km upstream in 35 hours.
