Reasons behind less vacancies in RRB 2020

Reasons behind less number of vacancies in RRB 2020

What is RRB -

Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) are Indian Scheduled Commercial Banks (Government Banks) operating at regional level in different States of India. They have been created with a view of serving primarily the rural areas of India with basic banking and financial services.

In June 4th week ibps has released the notification of requirements of rrb po and  clerk in this notification the vacancy is around 3800+ in rrb po and 4600+ in rrb clerk. Comparatively lower than previous year.

in 2019 the vacancies are 6500+ in rrb officers and 3800+ in rrb assistant.

In this year some states have zero(0) vacancies Karnataka, Jharkhand.
And in some states drastically reduced then previous year like odisha where there is 83% reduced.

Why this happened This year ?

There are many factors affecting.
Some factors are

  • Due to pandemic of covid-19 nationwide some states banks are not updated their vacancies.
  • As there are no notifications for banking jobs from last 4 months, IBPS decided to out notification of IBPS RRB in a hurry so that the preparation of the aspirants might not break.

Is there any chance of increasing in vacancies ?

  •  Yes it may increase because some banks still not updated their vacancies.
  • In the notification where N/R is written in the vacancy Table it  means they not reported their vacancies to IBPS.
  • In the vacancy Table where zero(0) vacancies are written there is little chance of increasing in vacancies. But where N/R is written there is a chance of increasing in the vacancies.
