1. What is the age of the Rambha in her family?
I. Total age of Rambha, her father, her mother & her brother is 90 years.
II. Average age of Rambha, her mother and her brother is 18 years and 4 months.
III Average age of her mother and brother is four seventh of her father’s age.
a) Only I & II
b) Only I & III
c) Only II & III
d) All I,II & III
e) NOT
2. What is the selling price of the almirah if no discount is offered?
I. Profit earned was 20%
II. Had 10% discount been offered on marked price the profit would have been Rs. 1200.
III. Cost price of almirah is Rs. 15000.
a) Any Two of the three
b) Only I & II
c) Only I & III
d) Only II & III
e) NOT
3. 12 girls and 8 children can complete a piece of work in 24 days together. How many days will it take for 12 men and 12 girls to complete the same work?
A. 2 men can do as work as 3 girls and 2 children can do together.
B. 3 girls can do as work as 6 children can do.
C. All of them together can complete the entire work in 768/67 days.
a) Any Two of them
b) Only A & B
c) Only C
d) Either A or B
e) No Need of any information
4. A train crosses a stationary train in 24 sec. Find out the length of the stationary train.
A. Ratio between the lengths of a platform and the moving train is 7 : 5.
B. The train crosses the platform in 18 sec.
C. The speed of the train is 54 km/hr.
a) Only A & B
b) Only B & C
c) Only A & C
d) Can’t be Determine
e) All the Statements are required
5. What is the marked price of the mobile?
A. Shopkeeper gives 15% discount on the mobile and he earns a total profit of 20 percent.
B. The cost price of a power bank is 40% less than the cost price of mobile.
C. By selling the power bank in Rs.560 a profit of 10 percent is earned.
a) Only A or B alone
b) Only B or C alone
c) Only A & C together
d) Any Two of them
e) All the Statements are required
6. Speeds of three motor boats A, B and C are equal and all cover 8 km of distance upstream in 48 minutes. Ratio between speed of motor boats and speed of stream is 6 : 1. On first day A starts in downstream from point P to Q, which shifts 9 km away from point P each day. On second day B starts from point P in downstream and reach at point Q in 4.5 hours, then find time take by C on third day to reach at point Q, (consider speed of stream same on all three days)?
(a) 4 1/7ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠 (b) 5 1/7ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠 (c) 3 1/7ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠
(d) 2 1/7ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠 (e) 9 1/7ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠
 (b); Speed of motor boats in upstream
= 8 × 60 48 = 10 km/hr
Let speed of motor boats be 6x km/hr and speed of stream be x
6x – x = 10
x = 2 km/hr
Downstream speed of all boats
= (6 × 2 + 2)
= 14 km/hr
Let distance between point P to Q on first day = y km
Second day distance = (y + 9)
14 = 𝑦+9 4.5
y= 63 – 9
y = 63 – 9
y= 54 km
Distance travelled on third day = 54 + 9 × 2 = 72 km
Total time taken by boat C on third day to reach point Q
= 72 /14 = 5 1/7hours

7. Sum of Area of circle and a rectangle is equal to 622 sq cm. The diameter of the circle is 14 cm, then what is the sum of circumference of the circle and the perimeter of the rectangle if the length of rectangle is 26 cm?
(a) 142cm (b)132cm (c)152cm
(d) 140cm (e)134cm
 (b); Radius of circle = 14 2 = 7
Area of circle
= 22/ 7 × 7 × 7 = 154 sq. cm
Rectangle area = 622 – 154 = 468 sq. cm
Breadth of rectangle
= 468 /26 = 18 cm
Required sum
= 2πr + 2(ℓ + b)
= 2 × 22 /7 × 7 + 2(26 + 18)
= 44 + (44) × 2 = 132 cm.
8. Ratio of efficiency of A and B in completing a work is 3 : 4. Both started to work together but A left after 2 days. Another person C joins B and they together complete the remaining work in 6 days. If A and B together can complete the work in 8 days then C alone can complete the work.
(a) 27/4 days (b) 56/3 days (c) 41/3 days
(d) 28/3 days (e) 49/3 days
 (b); Let A and B can do 3𝑥 and 4𝑥 unit of work in one day.
Total work = (3𝑥 + 4𝑥) × 8 = 56𝑥
(A + B) two day work = 7𝑥 × 2 = 14𝑥
Remaining work = 42𝑥
In 6 days B will complete
= 6 × 4𝑥 = 24𝑥 units
So, remaining 18𝑥 units are completed by C in 6 day So, 56𝑥 unit will be completed

in = 56𝑥 /18𝑥 /6 = 56 /3 days
